The town of Littleton, Massachusetts was first settled in 1686 and was officially incorporated by the Massachusetts General Court in 1714. Minutemen and Militia of Littleton fought at Concord and Battle Road on April 19, 1775.

Today Littleton has a population of just under 10,000 residents and maintains its small town New England charm with well-preserved architecture and open space. Littleton is a favored by its residents for its highly regarded school system and as a great town for raising families. Zillow ranks the Littleton School system 9 0ut of 10 and Littleton’s schools earned a silver star in the 2016 school rankings of U.S. News and World Report. In 2013 Bloomberg Magazine named Littleton the best town in Massachusetts to raise kids.

Littleton sits at the junction of Routes 495 and 2 offering its residents quick and easy access into Boston and all that New England has to offer. Littleton also benefits from being home to an MBTA Commuter rail stop which is located just across from Durkee Farm Estates so you can walk to the train in be at Boston’s North Station in an hour!

Littleton is part of the “Think Belt” of the Massachusetts High Tech Corridor serving as home for IBM’s North American software development lab and offering job opportunities at many other local high tech companies including Red Hat, Juniper Networks and Cisco.

Littleton also has great shopping and dining at its new commercial development “The Point” which features many favorite local and national companies including; Starbucks, Tavern at the Square, Market Basket, Courtyard Marriot and O’Neil Cinemas and you’re also a short drive for the retail center of Westford which has Whole Foods, Burtons Grill, TJ Maxx, Home Goods and many other retailers and restaurants.
